Align the sheer bands to soften daylight and keep glimpses of the outdoors.
Overlap the fabric bands for more privacy. Compare samples with your evening lighting.
Choose a suitable manual or motorized system. For strong bedroom light reduction, compare blackout roller fabrics too.
ZEBRA / DUAL SHADES · A COORDINATED ROOM
A pair of slender windows beside the fireplace and a wider corner window can feel like one design. Matching zebra fabric repeats a quiet horizontal pattern around the room while each shade is sized to its own opening.
The sheer bands shown here let daylight and glimpses of the trees through. Adjusting their alignment with the opaque bands changes the balance of light and screening throughout the day.
Start with the view, the direction of the sun and the atmosphere you want. We can help coordinate the fabric, cassette finish and suitable controls across different window sizes.
Plan a coordinated roomMOTORIZED ZEBRA SHADES / CORNER WINDOW
At a right-angle glass corner, the meeting point between two shades needs careful planning. This installation uses a front-roll fabric drop and a staggered overlap to reduce the visible gap and light at the junction.
THE DETAIL IS IN THE FIT
The fabric drops from the front of the roller tube, bringing the shade forward to the planned meeting line at the corner.
The two fabric edges are staggered at the 90-degree junction so that one extends past the other. This helps cover the gap and reduces the strip of light between the shades.
The video follows both motorized shades as they rise. The mounting position, overlap and clearance are planned together so the corner detail works through their movement.
A closer fit at the corner brings the two windows together visually, while keeping the zebra shades’ layered light control and motorized convenience.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
Find the right balance of daylight, privacy and everyday control.
Alternating sheer and opaque bands move past each other. Align the sheer sections for filtered daylight, or overlap the fabric bands for a more screened setting.
Zebra shades are designed for adjustable light and privacy. They are not a guarantee of a fully dark room. For bedrooms, compare blackout roller fabrics and the effect of mounting and edge gaps.
Motorized options can make hard-to-reach windows easier to use. We assess dimensions, power, controls and clearance; corner windows also need a carefully planned overlap.
Send your city, the number of windows, approximate widths and heights, and whether you prefer manual or motorized control. Window photos help us discuss the fit; final specifications are confirmed for the project.
